WordPress Glutenberg. Test drive.

I am using glutenberg for the first time to write this very article and I pretty much like it because it has a flow. Like suppose a person who is new to WordPress will enjoy using Glutenberg because it’s easy to get started. You do not have to learn anything if you want to add content dropping in some simple images in contrast to the classic wordpress editor. But I guess there are still certain things which will not be easy to implement into Glutenberg. such as tiled view of the icons along with the some content and features.

How can we actually have a layout which is looks like above.  Is it even possible with just Glutenberg?

Well actually it is possible and I was able to do this with Glutenberg. Its awesome.
I created columns and then just pasted image copied with heading and other stuff and the results are pretty good.

Look the following section. It’s like a sample of the Mockup in action.

What I did not liked is that there is no function to duplicate column. I even tried a google search. But no quick results on it.

But what I did liked is that you can press “shift” to select multiple columns and then paste it into the next column. This little featured saved the day for me. I was pretty much worried about how would i do it. But this feature is just awesome.

I pretty much love this editor and I will recommend it for the people who write frequently. Because it gives a much better presentational control than the classic version. Firstly, because it gives you tools right where you are writing your draft.
Secondly because the learning curve is like very minimum and it’s easier to learn as compared to the classic version.

If your write frequently and you want to prepare a decent enough article on your own then you will love Glutenberg.
But if you want to do more complex things and complex layouts I am not sure if it is the best approach.
